SMT equipment

Camtronics runs two identical Europlacer Vitesse based SMT lines, each with a Heller 1707EXL reflow oven. The machines are networked and therefore share programs and package libraries. This means that either line can run any product, providing increased flexibility and capacity to us and reduced leadtimes to you. We offer no-clean and aqueous cleaned processes to suit individual customer requirements.

Europlacer Vitesse:

Vitesse is the ultimate SMT placement solution - high throughput combined with the flexibility of a mid-range fine pitch placer. Unlike conventional chip shooters, the Vitesse is able to place a wide range of devices; ranging from 0402s to 50mm² QFP (70mm² QFP and 100mm connector optional), at a placement rate of 20000 cph. Such flexibility is achieved through Europlacer's intelligent feeder and vision technologies. Equipped with 'smart' nozzles and 'on the fly' vision, the Vitesse fulfils all possible placement needs in one compact system.

Heller 1707XL:

The 1707 EXL supports high mix / medium volume throughput… at speeds up to
24 inches (60 centimeters) per minute. Rapid response times and precise
temperature controls assure process uniformity, regardless of component density or board loading. The Model 1707 EXL combines sophisticated design elements with the engineering expertise and reflow technology leadership you've come to expect from Heller Industries With a high-capacity, 26-inch wide heater module, the 1707EXL offers unmatched flexibility in board handling. The oven is fitted with an adjustable singlerail edge hold conveyor/mesh belt combo, to carry even the largest boards or multi-board panels (up to 20 inches wide) through the oven.

TESTech B3 A01:

YESTech's advanced Thin Camera™ technology offers off-line benchtop PCB inspection with exceptional defect coverage. This benchtop system inspects solder joints and verifies correct part assembly enabling users to improve quality and increase throughput. Newly available Fusion Lighting™ and advanced image processing technology integrates several techniques, including color, normalized correlation and rule-base algorithms, to provide complete inspection coverage with an extremely low false failure rate.

Yestech Scanspection:

The Yestech Scanspection system assists through-hole inspectors by rapidly comparing the board under inspection with an image of a 'gold' board. Differences between the two are immediately apparent, allowing the inspector to focus their attention on potential faults.
